Kentucky Legistors Have Added Floor Amendments to Introduce Right To Work Legislation!
Two amendments were added on February 23, 2011 which support right to work legislation. Below is a
description of the amendments. Click on the House Bills to view the proposed amendments.
1)House Bill 141 - Amendment HFA (3, J. DeCesare) Right To Work legislation was added to this bill by Representative DeCesare.
Previously, State Representative Danny Ford filed floor amendments to to this bill to increase the prevailing
wage threshold from $250,000 to $750,000.
2)House Bill 428 - Amendment HFA (1, J. DeCesare) Amendments were added to this bill by Representative DeCesare that would
amend KRS 337.010 to raise the threshold exemption for public works projects from $250,000 to $1,000,000 and
to exempt all construction projects in elementary, secondary, and post-secondary buildings and facilities from the
prevailing wage requirements.
What Can You Do to Help? Contact your Representatives and let them know you are OPPOSED to the floor amendments to HB 141 and HB 428.

2nd: Cancelled - Regular Monthly Meeting cancelled due to Local 181 Election timing constraints. 5th: Ballots for the Election of Local 181 Officers conducted by secret ballot mail referendum to be mailed to all members in good standing.
9th: Cancelled - Meetings at Bowling Green, KY; Bedford, IN; and Elrod, IN cancelled due to Local 181 Election timing constraints.
31st: 12 pm (CST) ballots to be collected and counted for the Local 181 Election of Officers.
